Attention DSRA Racers

Attention DSRA Racers. Before Wetumpka, AL we have some safety items that should be check.

All boats must have the following:

1). Fire Extinguisher must be mounted in the boat.
2). NO Loose Gas Tanks.
3). NO Loose Batteries.
4). ALL Kill Switches must work.
5). ALL weight must be secured to the boat. ( Examples of some approved securing devices are, Ratchet Straps, Bolting, Mount a box in the boat and put your weight in the box with a secured lid, Storage compartments that lock.

You will not be allowed to race until you have corrected any and all safety issues.

DSRA New Rescue Crew

We are happy to announce that DSRA has retained the services of SPORT Rescue Team for all of the remaining races in 2008. They will provide expert rescue divers, crew, and all necessary equipment at each event. We welcome them to our club and look forward to working with them.

Race Fees & Racer Expenses

1. 2008 DSRA Annual Membership Fee----------$100
2. 2008 AOF Annual Membership Fee-------------$50
3. DSRA Class Registration Fee-------------------$100
4. Racer AOF Insurance Fee-----------------------$15

Klotz R50 Oil-----------------------------$10 / quart

* 1. DSRA Annual Membership Fee includes yearly dues to cover general club expenses.
* 2. AOF Annual Membership Fee includes yearly dues to become a member of American Outboard Federation. AOF is the provider of race insurance for DSRA. They require that each racer become a member in order to provide liability insurance coverage to the club.
* 3. Race registration fee is assessed at each event and includes money for the race purse and end of season high point purse.
* 4. Race insurance fee is assessed at each event and covers the insurance cost for a single race.
